Do I need a coach?
High performing design leaders go further and faster with coaching. Why? Our coaches are experts in design leadership and coaching psychology. With the help of a coach, you’ll define your vision, set goals, and take action. You’ll also develop new, positive habits and tools that allow you to thrive both personally and professionally.
What goals can coaching help with?
With a coach in your corner, we can help you clarify your vision. Together, we’ll create new pathways, behaviors, and habits to create lasting change and meaningful impact.

Common goals may involve leading with confidence, building relationships, driving culture change, gaining influence and sponsorship, finding meaning and impact in work, and navigating change.

Within this coaching dynamic, you’re in the driver’s seat. We’ll set goals based on your vision and what you seek to achieve.

Where are sessions held?
We offer coaching sessions remotely via teleconference or video call, whichever is most convenient for you.
How long will I need a coach?
Every person and situation is unique, but coaches typically recommend at least three to six months of coaching depending on your needs. The first few sessions are used for discovery, visioning, and goal creation. Beyond that, you’ll partner with a coach to experiment with new behaviors and approaches. Thereafter, your coach will help you make those winning behaviors second nature to become a part of your regular daily habits.
What can I expect from my coach?

This coaching program brings a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your potential. During your coaching sessions you can expect to:

• Establish and document your desired outcomes from participating in coaching
• Set the agenda for each coaching conversation, selecting a topic, theme, situation, question or challenge which is relevant to your own desired outcomes.
• Reflect on your own thinking and behavior; explore alternative ways of thinking and acting; take action on the plans you create, experiment with new behaviors, and observe their impact on yourself and others.
• Work collaboratively with the coach to shape the coaching relationship to best meet your needs, including providing candid feedback to your coach.

Your Coach is Responsible for:

• Supporting your ability to achieve your intended outcomes by asking questions, introducing topics, offering tools, making requests, challenging your thinking, prompting decisions, and offering supportive accountability
• Creating a judgment-free space to maximize curiosity, exploration and learning
• Providing candid reflections to you, in support of your stated objectives
• Abiding by the ethical standards established by the International Coaching Federation
• Maintaining your confidentiality

Do you help with burnout prevention?
In light of the pandemic, burnout is on the rise. Burnout is a stress syndrome that tends to strike hard-working people who care passionately about their work. It’s a sneaky condition that’s often caused by good intentions. And, when you’re burned out, it’s hard to know where to turn for help.

With the help of a coach, you’ll cultivate thriving. Together, you’ll move from overwhelm to a sense of purpose with our strengths-based approach. You’ll accomplish this by experimenting with new behaviors involving self-care, stress management, healthy habits, and innovation mindset.

If you’re feeling the pinch of burnout, know that you’re not alone. And, there is a path forward.

How is coaching different from therapy?
Whereas therapy focuses on resolving past issues and trauma, coaching starts from where you are today. Coaching promotes growth through goal setting and experimentation. Our coaching process is all about taking action based on where you are right now. Together, we build new habits that drive results. If you’re currently working with a therapist or other medical provider, we’re happy to partner with them to help you achieve your health and wellness objectives.
