Leadership & Transition Coaching For experienced professionals and leaders navigating expanded responsibility, career change, role ambiguity, and consequential decisions. START A CONVERSATION

When the old way of operating no longer fits

Transitions are not always dramatic.

Sometimes they begin with a new role, broader scope, a restructuring, or a decision about what comes next. Sometimes the change is less visible as familiar ways of leading, communicating, or making decisions stop working as well as they once did.

You may still be performing well.

But the questions are getting harder.

How do I lead at this level?
What do I actually want next?
What should I do with competing expectations?
How do I handle a relationship or conversation that has become more complex?
Is this something to push through, change, or leave behind?

These are not necessarily signs of crisis.

They are often signs that the situation requires a different level of reflection and judgment.

What coaching helps you work through

This work is designed for moments when the challenge is a need for perspective.

Coaching may focus on:

Stepping into greater responsibility or visibility
Navigating a career or leadership transition
Working through role ambiguity or changing expectations
Preparing for difficult or high-stakes conversations
Making consequential career or professional decisions
Reconsidering how you want to lead or work
Sorting through competing priorities, constraints, and obligations
Recognizing when an old assumption or way of operating no longer fits

Our goal is to strengthen the quality of your thinking so that decisions become more deliberate, communication more grounded, and next steps easier to trust.

A coaching relationship built around actions, not prescriptions

This is not performance optimization, generic career advice, or a program designed to push you toward a predetermined outcome. Our process is collaborative and client-led.

You remain the expert in your own life and work. My role is to help you examine the situation more clearly, surface assumptions, test perspectives, and notice patterns that may be shaping your choices.

Sometimes the work leads quickly to action.

Sometimes it reveals that the more important move is to wait, gather more information, have a different conversation, or redefine the question.

Good coaching strengthens personal judgment.

Who this work is for

I work primarily with experienced professionals and leaders carrying meaningful responsibility.

Some are stepping into a larger role. Others are navigating organizational change, reconsidering their direction, or working through decisions that do not have an obvious right answer.

Many work in fields such as design, research, product, customer experience, technology, operations, healthcare, finance, education, and consumer businesses.

What tends to matter more than title or industry is the nature of the moment when the stakes are real, the context is complex, and familiar answers are no longer sufficient.

How the work unfolds

Most private clients meet twice each month.

Sessions are focused, conversational, and shaped around what is most useful in the moment.

One session may center on a specific decision or difficult conversation. Another may explore a larger question about role, identity, leadership, or direction.

There is no fixed curriculum and no requirement to create momentum for its own sake.

The work continues for as long as it remains useful.

About Stephanie

I’m Stephanie Sansoucie, a senior UX and customer experience leader, advisor, and National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach.

Before founding Thrive Department, I spent more than 20 years leading experience design, UX research, strategy, innovation, and customer experience work in complex organizations, including senior leadership roles at EY and Kohl’s.

I have led teams through growth, transformation, distributed work, changing organizational structures, and the ambiguity that comes with significant responsibility.

That experience matters in coaching because I understand the environments many of my clients are navigating.

My coaching practice is also informed by formal training in coaching psychology, behavior change, and lifestyle medicine.
